Actualy there would be a need to turn east and shoot over along Joppa Rd towards Perring Parkway and Belair Rd. From there back down to the Green Line. That is a fairly dense residential quadrant (along with Morgan State University) that isn't serviced

Also you have two stations called Highlandtown on separate lines. The station you have named Reisterstown should probably be Pikesville (Reisterstown is actually northwest of Owings Mills). That end of the Green Line pretty much follows the existing Subway Line.

Wasn't sure. I didn't know if you started with the world as it exists or a clean piece of paper. I grew up in teh area and had moved away for a while when the line was built. Now I'm more in the Outer DC exurbs. Haven't ever been on the Baltimore Metro but always thought it was a system that suffered from being started at the wrong time. It had/has such great potential.

Could you see a commuter rail route or Amtrak route running from Charlottesville to Richmond and visa versa?

And could you see a commuter rail route from Richmond to Midlothian or even further out towards Burkeville or Farmville?

Possibly an Amtrak Route to Charlottesville. WOW that would actually bring some traffic to Main St station.
