I've been here less than 24 hours and I already love it here. Last night it was a bit stormy, and the incredible sound that thunder makes, when hearing from a mountain valley is breathtaking. Downtown was impressive, compared to many Utah towns I've seen. I found an apartment (at the last minute) on the border between Logan and North Logan, but would like to move closer to downtown eventually.

I'll tell you again what I think in January...

I for one will find them fun, and I am completely serious. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to ski, and love the cold and snow.

Bring it on I say, bring it on!

I love it, too. I love snow, cold, and fog. I was just making the point that most people probably wouldn't.

Been here for a week and couldn't be happier. Got the traffic figured out, the people are kind, this place has everything that life has to offer. The positive vibe here is incredible. The LDS people have been very helpful and non-pushy. I can fish for trout after a 3 mile drive. We can climb mountains, ski in the wintertime, watch old movies in the down-town theatres, eat at exotic, inexpensive restaurants, and go to sleep with my windows open.

All this should suffieciently make up for the snow, cold, and fog.

My son loves it here as well. He digs the skateboard park, and the free transportation. He likes the high school and the pleasantness of his fellow students.

Glad to be part of it. I hope it stays the same always. Logan rocks!

Try Indian oven, off 1000 North near the university. They also have some Korean and Thai places. I had a hummus packed vegatarian sandwich at a coffee shop with a glass of Mate', near the temple on 100 East. I haven't even scratched the surface yet, I've been so poor since my move. The Indian place will actually weigh your take out order and charge $3.50 per pound, no matter what you get.

I really dig the gyros at "Logans Heros". The Iranian guy that owns it is quite the philosopher.

Been here for 12 days now and like it more every day.
