The windmills are in Spanish Fork at the mouth of Spanish Fork Canyon. It is the first Wind Farm in Utah. There are 9 power-generating turbines. They were put up in 2008. Spanish Fork even has a yearly festival celebrating the windmills, and renewable energy sources in general, called WindFest.
