can anyone living or working near the two metal shredder plants share thoughts on them. They are trying to use these as "models" to show how wonderful it is to rename a junkyard into a recycling center. They say there are no fires, no explosions- if any, they say it might sound like a firecracker. I've read alot of material on shredders and think they need their very own location. They want to be in a nice clean industrial park and seem to think other industries will be knocking down the door to be next to them. This all sounds more than odd. They also say trucks don't drop debris on the road- they need it to shred so why would they let it fall on the road? They say they are as quiet as "conversation tones in a living room." None of this makes sense- let alone commonsense. Any input would be appreciated- we have another hearing to try to stop this open air dangerous jinkyard. They need another location.
