Taking our first out of town trip to Vegas in April - can anyone recommend a good Kennel/Boarding facility? I can't seem to find much other than phone numbers on the net, a first hand experience would be great! I have a medium sized 50lb.ish border collie/husky mix! Any info would be great!

Default Pet Facility

I know this may be a little far for you. But I take my dog to Pet Pals in Layton. They also have a doggie daycare. This woman does it through her house and she has land for them to run around outside. I really like her. She's like $20 a day. My dogs are going there when we go to Vegas in April, too. I would never take my dog to a kennel.

It's not my preference to do so either, but my dog is a rescue - with aggression and dominance issues. She needs to be segregated and supervised at all times, not just for the safety of other dogs, but for the handlers involved. Believe me, it would be my wish to have her perfect and Lab-like, but i've spent over $6,000 on behavior and training just to get her to where she is now. Our dogs can't all be paragons of perfection
