This one had a few slices of tangy tomato, and the cheese oozed out the sides on to the grill, leaving a nice cheese crisp attached to the side of the sandwich. My friend, you don't even know.

Oh, I know what you are talking about. when the cheese transitions from gooey and stretchy, gradually losing moisture and getting to golden dry crisp on the edges. Ok, you grilled cheese sandwich people win. Like Japanese, appreciating perfection of simplicity.

So I finally went to Roots for lunch. I have to say that I was impressed. The lunch prices were definitely on the higher side but not unreasonable. The food was excellent and our waitress was very nice and attentive. The ambiance of the place was nice for me and I didn't find it stuffy. I will admit it was a relief not to see any wait staff with a septum piercing or neck tattoo.

You guys in eastern Clark County are so lucky that Pizza La Sorrentina will be opening next month on 164th. We have enjoyed their food truck for several years in Hazel Dell. The pizza is incredible!

According to google maps, the address in the Columbian article puts it in the strip mall next to the I-Hop down near the Fisher's Landing Transit Center. Same complex as Chutney's Indian Restaurant. Perfect location for us, about 7 minutes away. We will definitely check it out. That's for the head's up.

We keep meaning to try the Twilight Pizza Bistro on 192nd but the one or two times we stopped by on a Friday night there was too long of a wait.

I am happy for the new owners. But I wish other sorts of restaurants would open. We have loads of pizza places here.

However, I’ll make sure we try the new place.

I promise you this is not your ordinary pizza place. It is authentic Neoplolitan pizza. The owners are the nicest people. The new restaurant will also have pasta, which was not served from the food truck.
