The thing is,a lot of people in BC aren't from BC.
Even in my circle of friends, I have two from Saskatchewan, one from Nova Scotia, two from Alberta, several from Ontario, one from small town Manitoba, one from PEI, one from New Brunswick, and only two that were born here. I'm not counting friends who are from other countries.
So when people visit Vancouver and say a blanket statement about Vancouverites...who actually represent a lot of Canada, I just laugh at the ridiculousness of it.
