I am going to be as careful and politically correct as possible - my question is more generic - I do not want to necessarily know names or necessarily the specifics but[unless someone wants to send me a private message ]....

Has anyone had the experience of being a victim of crime in this county and has not had, or believed they have not had an appropriate disposition of their case / situation - I am referring to being a victim only.

Thanks!

I find it hard to believe [smile] that no one has had frustrating experiences in this county?? Perhaps one is concerned about openly posting; I hope not but if so, please feel free to PM me or just respond in the broadest sense of the term. Tx

I live in Windsor, which is in Windsor county, and have never had any problems. What are you getting at? Can you be more specific?

Hi, I am asking if anyone has been a victim of a crime in Windsor County, went through the process w/law enforcement and to a prosecutor and were disappointed and/or frustrated with either the process or the results, or lack thereof, of those results.

I realize I am still being somewhat vague but hopefully with a little more clarification?

Thanks.

No, I haven't had that experience, fortunately. I am sorry if you did, and I hope it all works out for you in the end.

Why don't you go to the state's attorney general if you have a problem with law enforcement and/or the county prosecutor?

Sorrell is worthless as AG. He doesn't care about victims of crime here, victims of police abuse, etc., he cares about these big lawsuits and such that give him publicity nationally (which he's been losing lately).

Why limit the question to Windsor County? I imagine the family of the hit and run victim near the key bank in Rutland are not happy with the results of that case...

I've lived in Windsor for 13 years and have not been the victim of a crime so I can not give you any feedback, sorry.

This kid's family has some good "connections" if you catch my drift. I actually know the killer and a cousin of his.
