So, as I stated in my other post looking for temporary housing, we're definitely moving to Rutland County.

My question is, we're homeschoolers (unschoolers) and would like to find some local groups around. Where to check for this? Any homeschoolers on this board that can direct me? We're a Christian family but don't necessarily need to find a Christian group. I've checked out Yahoo groups but didn't find an unschooling group specifically for Vermont. Just for New England in general.

The one good thing about VT is you can find homeschoolers pretty much anywhere you go here.
The first place to check is the local library. The librarian can usually put you in touch with at least one homeschooling family and then you can network from there. Try your town as well as the surrounding towns and also Rutland itself.
Interesting to be unschooling Christians, the two usually aren't combined.
We unschooled our children and have no regrets about that. Ready to graduate HS and tops in their class. We homeschooled through 8th grade.
