Here's a little bit about me. I will be 28 in November, I have two kids that are 3 and 5 both are boys. I am currently attending school for Health information management, and will be graduating in June of 2014 and my field is Associates in Health Information Management. I want a fresh start, in a new place that has safe neighborhoods, Hospitals not that far from you, taxes, and the cost of living, and community activities. Any other information would be helpful too.

Thank you!

Just my two cents. If I were you, one of the areas I would look into would be the Springfield/Hartford/Windsor area of Vermont if you are looking for a place in Vermont, as far as jobs are concerned. There is Hitchcock medical center in Hanover NH not far away. There is a veterans hospital in White River Jct., VT. There are hospitals in Springfield and Windsor, VT. You can also travel south down 91 into Mass. if you are looking for a medical center in Springfield MA or Holyoke MA.

Oh Massachusetts it's that far away? Sweet. I was thinking about looking there too for jobs.

I'm not sure what you would do with an associates in health information management, but I suspect that you want to be looking at larger hospitals for the best employment chances. That would mean being in the vicinity of Burlington, where Fletcher Allen Health Care is located, or in easy reach of Dartmouth-Hitchcock, which is across the river in New Hampshire.

In both areas you should be able to find active, safe communities and good places to raise kids, but whether it will be affordable depends very much on the compensation levels you can expect to command.
