Where, other than in job benefit packages, do people get health insurance in Vermont?

Someone here in NY said his friend in Vermont was able to get health insurance very inexpensively.

If I remember correctly, I was told, by someone at the Brattleboro Chamber of Commerce, that one can get health insurance through that organization. My memory could be mistaken though.

What do businesspeople, freelancers, private practitioners and per diem workers do for health insurance in Vermont?

And how expensive is the insurance? And how comprehensive?

I am particularly interested in Brattleboro, but all comments are welcome.

Unfortunately, I can't really help other than to tell you that BlueCross/BlueShield of Vermont is probably the biggest player. That is who I have through my employer and I'm happy.
The State passed the Catamount Health Bill last session. You may want to look into that, but I believe there are income limits, etc.
