NY is hands free, so we've carried that over into VT. Does VT have a hands free law?

'The Frappaccino Incident'
Funny story! Perhaps we should all collectively contribute our VT speeding stories to Yankee Magazine...probably might get us a whole chapter and it could be pretty funny....they might actually love the idea! Anyone game?

Count me in!

I wonder what it would be called?

"Fast Times in VT"
"Racing the Cows Home"
"Faster than a Speeding Jersey"
"But Officer, My Ben & Jerry's is Melting!"

No, and getting a law in the books in this state can take forever. First there has to be a study to see if there should be a study to have a study for the law. Then every kook in this state will show up at the meetings, speaking for hours while waving their hands, trying to take Vermont back. The board will eventually tire of them and delay a decision until the next meeting. Repeat this three or 4 times. Law will be in the books by 2012 at the earliest

Hopefully never though.....

They tried to pass a law last year that said you could do basically NOTHING in your car but drive. No eating,coffee,phone....nothing but drive. luckily it didn't pass.

FYI: Most native Vermonters believe in personal responsibility, common sense and don't believe is more silly laws that are common in more crowded areas.
