I've got an old 1800's barn and it's in dire need of repair.
Powder post beetles have taken out the support beams along with a bunch of smaller problems.
So, I just don't think its worth saving.

Has anyone had a barn demo'd and removed?
I'm trying to get a rough idea of the costs.

thanks.

Don't know what that would run. I had an alternate idea: There's a barn salvage company in Canaan, NH called Great Northern Barns. They might be able to use some of the material, perhaps that could save you a few bucks.

I'll ask a few people I know and get back to you but I would put an add in the local paper and I'm sure someone will contact you. People are looking for that type of lumber and will probably do some bartering with you.

I’m interested in your barn. Is it still available?
