In other news, Governor Scott has announced that he is seeking another term as governor. Yay.

Democrats say they are going to run someone to replace him since he has not fulfilled his promise to build consensus. (The legislature does not pass anything he puts forward. If he vetoes it, the override it.)

A person identifying as 'they' named Poa is going to run as well. He managed a Meals on Wheels and spearheaded something called "Pancakes for the People." (not kidding)

There is a $13 million dollar short fall in the B'ton city government. Someone forgot to add in the cost of benefits to city employees (oops).

Bernie is running again, too (God help us).

An average 13+% property tax increase is coming down the pike in July.

I have 2 ducks who've been stopping by our pond on the regular. I have advised them to find another hangout before we are inundated with papparazi and they wind up as a story on CD.

Vermont may have less than a million inhabitants but it more than makes up for it in the character slash characters aspect. lol

Ouch! on the property tax hike.

I had two ducks swimming in our pool last week. a momma and a poppa, of course taking a break from the chicks I guess...

"Poa" sounds like NH's Vermin Supreme. He's the perpetual presidential candidate here. Vermin is the guy with a boot for a hat who pledges to give everyone a pony.
