I'm looking for a place in Vermont that has both access to boatable water (wake boarding/sking) and a decent downhill ski area within close promity of each other. Currently I am thinking of Bomoseen and Killington; Waterbury and Stowe; Rescue and Okemo; or Champlain and buy a condo at a ski resort and commute for the weekends.

Are these combinations feasible? Does anyone have combinations that I haven't thought of? Ideally I would like to live on the lake and have no more than a 45 minute drive to skiing, but the closer the better. Also, the less remote the better because unfortunately I will still have to work.

Lake Fairlee/Lake Moree -> Dartmouth Ski Bowl. About an hour to Killington. Upper Valley/Montpelier for work. Never seen them used but someone sets up waterski slalom buoys in both lakes.

I just posted a classified ad for a property that fits this description...views of Lake Bomoseen...not boat access though..you would have to launch from the public access. Also, 40 minutes to Pico/Killington area. It's not a condo though....it's an investment property with three separate units. You could keep one for yourself and rent the other two to pay the mortgage.
