Do you think that there should be an option or a setting that is either selectable non-selectable to have population fluctuation in open-world games such as GTA or Red Dead, etc ?

It can go up at a steady rate per day or depending on certain events, the rate can change.
On the opposite end, if you kill enough people, you can noticeably see emptier streets? And maybe there is some storyline change if you decrease the population past a certain percentage? or you effectively end the storyline by killing 100% of the in-game population? or postpone it for several years until more people move in?

I don't know, I always thought about this playing GTA. "I keep killing people, but they keep coming back!"

Thoughts?

lol, idk that seems pretty trivial to me. Plus, whenever you kill somebody in GTA; the ambulance usually brings them back to life anyways

I would like to see things like traffic jams/rush hour and stuff like that but it would take a lot of memory for a game to accomplish that.

NOT ENOUGH ZOMBIES!

Just kidding... the game is sick. Open world is massive.
