Is this game any good? Thinking of trading in Black Ops 2 and Titanfall for it.

It's pretty fun. If it wasn't such a lagfest right now, it would probably be one of the better CoD games.

Is it worthwhile to get this game for my Xbox 360 if I only want to do the on-line multiplayer? I still have quite a few months left on my XBL account so it makes more sense for me to get the last gen version rather than to upgrade to a PS4. This is especially true as I'll mostly be playing Super Smash Bros. 4 when it's released in a couple weeks.

How would you compare it to Ghosts? Pretty much almost everyone hated that game.

I didn't have much of an issue with Ghosts (Multiplayer, never played the campaign), but I know a lot of people liked to complain about it. It really just isn't possible to have perfect spawning, lack of lag and such in a game like this relying on numerous varying network connections. I really like AW though, boost jumping adds a lot of fun to the "cat and mouse" in multiplayer. I have also experienced some lag, but not a big deal if they correct it soon. I expected it to play worse than it is on launch day, but overall it is has been pretty stable for me.

I've been anti COD and pro BF for past last several years but will have to admit that AW is pretty good. Probably the best COD since MW2.

I'll probably be Prestiging within the next day or so, so I wanted to give the game some time before commenting. This is DEFINITELY the best COD game since Modern Warfare 2.

From the guns, classes, attachments, exo abilities (which are so much cooler than I anticipated). This game is pretty much a must own for anyone who like first person shooters and/or the Call Of Duty series.

Soooooo much better than Ghosts. Ghosts was pretty much unplayable it was so bad. Advanced Warfare is a pretty dang good FPS.

Of course this only applies to Multiplayer, no one (or very very very few) gets these games for the campaign play.

I gave in and bought it 2 days ago. So far I'm really enjoying it. One thing I notice is that killstreaks aren't as dominating as they use to be. At least now you can upgrade them which I really like. Game seems a lot more balanced then previous CODs. I'm on Xbox 360, likely going to switch to PS4 once I get a job.

Definitely loving this version of COD. I like how we can turn the score streaks into "support" and accumulate points towards them even if you re-spawn. Gives a decent chance of using the bigger streaks. With my run-n-gun style I rarely get 10-12 kills in a row for the higher streaks anyway lol.
