I guess I've been playing some unconventional games since I dropped out of BF3 a few months back:

-PS3 - "Rocksmith" at least an hour a day, just downloaded a Queen DLC pack, using either my relatively new Les Paul, or my old trusty Yamaha Pacifica. What other video game teaches you guitar and, thus, helps you get chicks?

-PC laptop - The 6 year old "Civilization IV" game again, with some historical mods.

-PC desktop - "Mount & Musket" Napoleonic War mutliplayer DLC in commander mode. Just that alone, I have no interest in M&M singleplayer, or multiplayer, or even the other Napoleonic mods other modes. Just commander mode - because no other game in existence gives you the feeling of commanding a musket-age regiment in full FPS style. It's an esoteric experience.

I wandered around for a bit trying different FPS games, MMORPGs, and a few in between before biting the bullet and going back to World of Warcraft. Haven't touched any of my high level characters yet, just leveling up a Paladin from scratch since I hadn't started any new toons since Cataclysm launched. Other than that, been messing around with Super Mario Bros. on the kids' WII and realizing that years of computer gaming have severely crippled my console skills ^_^

Tribes: Ascend.....that game has got to be one of the best FREE games I've ever played in my life. I actually find it far more addicting than Halo or Call of Duty. I would say as far as fun and addicting factor, it was about equal with Battlefield 2 when I used to play that for PC. (I haven't tried Battlefield 3 yet).

Im late to the MInecraft party -but now thats its on Xbox - im into that full time.

however w/ the release of Dawnguard - I picked up my Skyrim character again. Im Lvl 57, ALMOST 58, so its taking me forever to reach the next level/ but with all of the new quests & added baddies I can finally kill some larger things & maybe reach 58. Im shooting for 60 - then ima gonna tap out as I think ive mined all that Skyrim has to offer.

hoping theres a Fallout 4 in the works.
Still waiting for new Tomb Raider....

I just got back into Dark Souls on my PS3. Seeing the DLC content that's soon to be released for Artorias of the Abyss made me get all excited so I decided to start fresh and try to knock off a few more trophies.

I also downloaded the Gods & Kings Expansion for Civilization V on my computer. It added religion and a few more civs to play as which I think are pretty cool. That game can eat up an entire day in the blink of an eye.
