I am wondering if anybody could give me an idea of how long my commute would be (during rush hour) from Rosslyn to Tysons - I will be working at 8000Towers Crescent Drive in Vienna (not sure if that means anything to anybody seeing as it means nothing to me since i live in California now). My husband and I will be staying in temporary housing and he wants to be in Rosslyn and I don't want to end up with a really horrible commute during this time. I was also curious what the commute would be like from the Courthouse area of Arlington? Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

I live in Arlington (Ballston, which is 2-3 mi west of Rosslyn/Courthouse) and commute to Tysons, it takes me around 20-25 mins from door-to-door leaving at 8:30 am.

Towers Crescent is on the near side of Tysons so you'd probably take I-66 West to VA-7 West and go another mile or two until you get to Tysons. There are probably back-roads ways to go too, but I tend to stick to the main roads myself.

Commuting from Courthouse will likely be about the same as Rosslyn since they are right next to each other.

Edit: in an emergency, you can even take the Metrorail/bus to/from Tysons too. It takes a while but can be done.
