I am looking for my Sister and her Daughters while visiting in the US. I am originally from Maryland but have been living in Scotland for the past 30+ years. Last known address for Melissa Ranfone is Virginia Beach, Va. And the last known address for Sharon Nordan was Holliday, Florida. You are correct in my opinion and I believe that the rule is there to prevent duplicate threads in more than one forum. The Op is looking for a few names in places like Virginia, Florida, and maybe other states. The other forum is where they can get the most help from the volunteers who put in their time to try to help. Another place to post would be the genealogy forum. There are some good people on that forum who I know and who go back and forth between the two forums and try to help. Plugging a name into a people finder site and paying a few dollars to see more, is not always successful and other ideas can also get results. So, before this may be moved over at least a few Virginia residents saw and very remotely might know one of the relatives.
