Just heard on the news, am still listening, how Virginia voters are turning out in numbers to protest against new gun laws proposed by Virginia government. What is going on down there Virginians? Have heard that governor/legislature is/has enacted draconian gun laws and is considering directing the National Guard/State Police to enforce them if Virginia gun owners refuse to abide by them. I am with you Virginia 2nd amendment gun owners. Tell us what's happening......

One lawmaker brought up the VA National Guard. They know this will never happen and I've already seen many NG members saying they'd resign/walk away before ever doing this work. It was a desperate comment by the lawmaker as they never expected this large of a response from legal gun owners.

Stand strong Virginia!

NY is a lost cause but we overwhelmingly ignored the Safe Act when it was passed in 2013 and have continued to openly defy it since.

You can do it too! Actually it’s looking like you guys will do it even better than we did.

Never waver, never falter! OUR 2nd Amendment is the bedrock of our American exceptionalism!

https://www.thecentralvirginian.com/ has covered it for the local counties. The movement is real.

In my day to day dealings I haven't heard any talk about it.

The overwhelming crowds I have seen reported are at county and city meeting to adopt 2A Sanctuary status, rather than a direct protest. Though I’m sure that will come. Another bill has pre-emptively been filed by House members in HB67 to try to remove any public official that will not enforce state laws, a direct response to the number of localities that have approved sanctuary resolutions:
https://lis.virginia.gov/cgi-bin/leg...e?201+ful+HB67

Another sign of desperation and intimidation. So the outcome would be... martial law? The National Guard attempting to enforce laws? A return of the unorganized militia as is protected by the Va constitution?

This isn’t being seen state-wide.
