I need to find a place to stay for 2 nights this weekend. All the hotels are pretty expensive. I wonder if you know a local/rural hotel that I can spend the nights there?

Thanks,

Use one of those services like Priceline or Kayak to get half price hotels like on Priceline you can flatly say you'll pay $50 for a room and you are then obligated to stay at the hotel they choose in the area for that price.

None that you'd want to stay at, unless you had a "date" you just met when she was "walking on the street".

Super 8 in Laurel $56 on weekend, $60 during the week. You might look at reviews on Tripadvisor, etc. Not an area I've ever stayed in. I'd go Hotwire or Priceline first. You can look at www.betterbidding.com to see what others have gotten and for what price.

Thank you all for the suggestions nd information. I eventually used priceline to got a bt at ~$125 (tax/service included) for 2 days from Extended Stay America in Gaithersburg. The hotel isn't too bad although the service was not good.
