I am thinking about relocating to Clarksburg, MD. How is the commute from Clarksburg to DC. What is the average time each way for the commute? What is the best/fastest mode of transportation? Thanks!

It really all does depend on when you will be making the commute from Clarksburg to Downtown DC. The commute from Clarksburg to Downtown DC on a day with no traffic is probably an hour, maybe 45 mins if you speed a bit but on a regular work day evening expect a commute that is close to two hours.

Assuming you leave your place of work between 5-7pm.

The fastest way, aside from Metro is 270 to 495E, exit 40,41,43/44.
