I was just sleeping in bed when all of a sudden I wake up to a very loud rumble and some shaking. It didn't last long but I was scared ****less. I didn't know what it could have been, but I did think it may have been an earthquake. After checking the USGS website, I found that it was indeed a 3.7 magnitude earthquake.

And then about 20 minutes later I finally get an email from Alert Montgomery saying there was an earthquake... way to be quick

I felt in Brightwood in my house, I was like dang... It had the similar feeling for the real small quake in VA when I was working Crystal City but this one was bigger.

People in Arlington and Dulles even felt it!

Yep. Woke me up.

Earthquake #4 in my life. I slept through a small one in New York. Felt two in two different parts of Italy in the same week. This one one was the most profound, relatively speaking, as I could comment on it in present tense.

Yeah, I've got a friend who lives in Mitchellville and he said he didn't feel it. Yet people out in the southern part of NoVA felt it lol.
