Hurricane Sandy Thread

In terms of casualties, I think we would have seen a lot more if the storm hadn't been hyped as much as it was here. I think most folks just stayed inside for the duration of the storm since they kept expecting near-hurricane force winds. We probably would have seen several injuries and some fatalities if more folks were on the roads.

I live next to Route 1 in College Park and at 5PM it's usually a parking lot. On Monday it was almost completely deserted save for the occasional car.
