We got a handle of Ketel One, quite a few Bud Lights left, plenty of trees. FIFA, Netflix, hopefully the football game if we still have power. It's a good day.

Out of town on travel. Sounds good right? Except I would've been off today and tomorrow if i was in DC but am instead doing triple the work because my comrades didn't make it out of DC before Sandy hit.

Stay safe all.

I have! So love Grease, John Travolta and the song 'Sandy'!! My bro-in-law and his family are visiting us this week, from Fairfax, VA by DC area, worried as to what awaits them when they return to DC next week.

The Hurricane was really just a long cold rain with some wind. We never lost power and the trees behind our house hardly lost a limb and the neighborhood looks just fine with no damage or falling trees. Was it really worth all the hype?

Have you been watching the news or just making a broader assessment based on your backyard? The storm absolutely destroyed New Jersey and New York and tallied 16 deaths. Even though it landed hundreds of miles north of us, we still had widespread damage and power outages in the area with high winds.
