I will be moving to an unfurnished studio in DC next month, but I am not moving any furniture at all. The first thing I need to buy is a mattress. I am thinking a bed in a box might be the easiest type of mattress to be delivered. Or, are there any local stores with inexpensive mattresses that can be delivered? Any specific recommendations for "bed in a box" brands or mattress stores would be appreciated. I am on a limited budget, so cost is definitely a consideration. Thanks for your help!

Go through MacyBed, they deliver and set it up for you. You can finance over 12 months and save some bank by paying it off on a Macy's Card. They carry Casper, Leesa and LuLu bed-in-a-box brands with foundations. https://www.macys.com/shop/mattress/...99.99?id=97743

If you're anywhere near an IKEA, they have inexpensive and good quality mattresses, I hear.

First thing I would do is size up the body your trying to hide.

I read yesterday that mattress prices are way up due to supply chain issues. Premium mattress in box brands are back-ordered until spring.
