Hi,

can anyone tell me what traffic is like on 495 towards Tysons from Springfield, around 7:30 in the morning, please?

Ah, the Inner Loop! From my experience, it would vary. Figure somewhere between 50 mph and 3 mph. The day's when it's 3 mph are the bad ones...

Haha sagnaista hit the nail on the head and unfortunately from my experience there are many more bad days than good. Driving in from Springfield the traffic will start off moving at a decent pace but but once you get to the I-66 ramps leading to the Beltway (below Tysons Corner) you will hit some rather lengthy delays.

i get the pleasure of making that trip around the same time next week on tues and wed. of course i'll be coming from Landmark so i'll just take 236 W to 495 N. Wasn't the worst last time i did it. About 30 min usually.
