I commute from my residence in Gig Harbor to my job in Issaquah daily. The reason is that, due to an unfortunate combination of having physically debilitating arthritis and the IQ of a baked potato, my employment options are poor, and the job I landed out there a year ago is probably the strongest long-term opportunity I could ever hope to get. For now, I’m staying in GH, because the money I save by living with my dad outweighs the commute, but in a few years I will have to leave. The commute is horrible, so it will only make sense to move near Issaquah. I’ve lived in GH my entire life and know very little about the outside world, and from what I’ve seen of it, I’m not a fan. Examples of places I hate are Tacoma, Bremerton, and Seattle, each for different reasons. Give me some suggestions that are nothing like these **** holes. I will make ~$50K when I expect to leave. It needs to be inexpensive, but safe, and non-ghetto.

At $50K gross, and single income earner it may be tight.

I'll look at Ruth's Craig's lists now.

Bremerton is too far away from Issaquah IMO, but why do you hate it?

(I'm not a fan either but I'm interested in your reasons.)

"Jizzaquah?" Hmm.

I guess J is close to I on the keyboard, and Z is close to S. LOL.

If you're moving because you hate a long commute to Issaquah.... I'd suggest moving to... Issaquah.

Precisely my thinking, Mr. Bond.

Thanks, pal. So you didn't even look at my listings? $1600/mo shouldn't be too expensive for you. It's not practical to live anywhere else and commute to Issaquah, wasting time and fuel daily.

I did look. $1600/mo is more than I want to spend. I disagree that it’s not practical to leave anywhere other than Issaquah. There must be somewhere else.

Start from Issaquah and fan out. I bet there are affordable places anywhere if you look, but there is no town we can name that is going to be cheaper than your parents, or easier to commute to than Issaquah. You're going to have to make some choices.
