Wind power is terrific. Yeah, some birds get killed. However, this tech is obviously cost-effective, as we have seen across Washington State. When I see a large windmill complex in Eastern Washington I am proud. Good, cost-effective, non-polluting energy. Bring it on.

I’m for it.

I knew some guys that were maintenance workers and installers of them.
They were paid a good union wage and were able to buy good homes in the Bay Area.
I think WA could use a few more decent paying jobs.

I don’t think they are ugly.
As one with a mechanical background I find them fascinating.
We would drive by and talk about why some looked different than others, why some were spinning while others were not.

I’ve seen them for years down here in Cali.
They are evolving.
Every few years you will see a newer design.
The science to this grows every year.

I have no doubt that the wildlife friendliness is improving every year as well.
Don’t have any proof to this that I can accurately quote but I do know a state biologist and several volunteer groups that would raise wholly hell if this wasn’t going in the right direction.
