Not entirely true, mask are mandated for employer/workers but not for shoppers unless the store in question wants it. Even the Governor of Washington said the fines and jail time could not be enforced. A lot of police around the state said they would not enforce the mandate. I have gone into some stores who were not enforcing the mandate but were recommending wear them and seeing people not wearing mask.

*sigh* Okay, I'll give--how are masks "incubating healthy people"? Please share your no-doubt expansive level of knowledge about infectious disease to explain that one.

I can only imagine what high-brow radio shows are enlightening you.

That’s incorrect, masks are required on indoor public spaces.

They have been mentally impaired. The virus isn't particularly dangerous no more than many other fatal causes of death. No, I'm not obese, old, on meds or exposed. I work an essential job and wear the mask there as required. I do that because it's mandated (suddenly in phase 2) and I work with food and feel it's an inconvenience worth working with being I deal with food. But I will not suffer from orange man bad syndrome. I avoid crowded places so I don't have to wear one. I believe masks are keeping people sick. Sure it prevents sick people from spreading disease, but I'm not sick, haven't been in years and I will not act like a sick person. People need to breath air and oxygen. It's funny how suddenly CO2 doesn't matter. These shutdowns serve an agenda and it's not an agenda to make people healthier. I'm not the one coughing or sneezing or walking out with a snot rag in my front pocket, I don't need this crap. The whole thing about having the virus with no symptoms is ridiculous. People need to draw a line somewhere and use their common sense. Half the deaths are from nursing homes. There is a surge in cases but the fatality rate is dropping. I still haven't seen a single person with this virus, unlike certain flues that go around I personally can see them, but not with this one. It's like an invisible boogey man that has caused a lockdown which is killing more people than the actual virus. Poverty? Crime? Developing herd immunity? People like to cite doctors because they need to look credible, but I don't. I have a high IQ and don't need corrupt doctors to tell me what I can already find out about on my own.

People like you will be the ones lined up for the Gates Covid vaccine. Unfortunately the kids with misguided parents who have them poked several times like rats will grow up with health problems, always out of school or work because their immune system is screwed up. Do you really think the Gates Foundation cares about black people or the average joe's health? Has it occurred to you that the richest man in the world may care a bit too much about money and power? Stop being so presumptuous as to why people don't wear masks, it's not about being stubborn. People don't wear them for many reasons, just like some people willingly wear them for various reasons. It's not your place or any "official's" place to mandate masks like we're children. They are over-stepping and will be dealt with in time. Do you really think you care more about the public? Where is the outrage of public property and people's lively hoods being destroyed? How about homelessness? I guess no agenda is served by helping homeless or people who are hungry because there's not enough work to go around.
People like me, lol. I work with doctors and infectious disease specialists in the healthcare field. I have multiple bachelor's degrees in psychology and sociology, as well as extensive statistical training and a master's degree in applied communications. What about you? What did you get your YouTube degree in? Anti-vaxxing with a minor in 5G?

I've gone through a lot of preparation to get to where I am, and again, I'm regularly dealing with data and experts. If you'd like accurate information, let me know. If you'd like to speak to someone who's survived COVID, let me know. The fact that you don't know someone, aren't currently feeling ill, or can't see germs with your naked eye means nothing. And given the things you say regularly on these threads, I'm not sure I believe that you know could identify accurate sources of information, or understand them if you did.

Let me make a couple thing clear. First of all, intelligent people can have multiple thoughts or concerns at the same time. So, it's not and either/or when it comes to the pandemic. I care about both. But we have to take care of the health of citizens first, in order to take care of the businesses. Wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing are risk reduction methods, not a cure all. But they are necessary to keep the virus at bay and allow businesses to steadily open, and they're very small public safety efforts to take, not an assault on your freedom. The main danger to individuals is that people have to smell their own breath, lol.

I'm not going to even get into the absurd Bill Gates conspiracy assertion. But the fact that you're defending the con man billionaire but condemn a the billionaire who's dedicated most of his money to helping people is telling.

None of this matters, really. More and more places will shut you out of entering, because no one wants to take your word that you're not COVID positive. It's the law, and it's businesses that will be mostly enforcing it.

It's a temporary thing to do until the virus goes through the population.

During the Spanish flu cities had mask requirements and a fine of $5 for those in public without wearing one.

I don't believe a temporary mask requirement has anything to do with "freedom."

It's just brainwashing of ignorant people.
Its not temporary, its a new normal that went from 2 weeks to well into next school year. The fools who wear it will not be healthier than those who dont.

I have yet to hear someone complain to me or even give a mean look. Masks were discouraged in the beginning, people just listen to anything because theyre low IQ and cant put 2 and 2 together.

Whatcom County. You must live in a bubble. Mandated means nothing when it isnt enforced. Its not enforced because itll cause a huge backlash.

Masks arent meant to be worn for long periods of time every day. Just like gloves arent meant to be worn all day, its cross contamination. Also hand sanitizer isnt meant to be used several times a day its toxic. These are tools we use when better alternatives arent possible like hand washing and staying away from sick people.

People, if they are sick, cough or sneeze into their mask and reuse it and touch it since few people can wear it correctly for hours without touching it. Healthy people well all it does to them is restrict air and make them lightheaded. There body isnt given a chance to handle germs. Then people throw their mask onto the ground to blow around the city.
