Sooo curious who is going to let us in mask-free first. I frequent Fred Meyer, QFC and Target. Coffee shops too. I would expect the eastern part of the state to get there first.

I don't know but I look forward to it! FINALLY.

And what I really hope is that it allows all those who work in bars, restaurants, stores, and even doctor's offices, who have had to wear masks ALL DAY, can now take them off. I complain about having to wear it on our way in and out, they have had it much worse.

Inslee needs to act soon to ensure this. Remove any mandate on these businesses, and let people decide for themselves.

SW WA - South Thurston where we are, and Lewis County, are ready to ditch the masks.

I bet. This is where the cultural differences are going to shine... my neighborhood has the second highest vaccination rate in King County (if not the whole state) at something like 84% last week. Yet I still see about half the people WALKING OUTSIDE wearing masks AND probably another 20% DRIVING with masks. And you KNOW that these same people who are so, so careful were undoubtedly the first in line to get vaccines.

Bless their hearts.... What else can we say to those walking alone outside in a mask.

They can live that way if they want, but not me!

They feel like heroes when doing that while in reality they look like people who have no brain.

Well yeah... but what I really think is that they are of the managerial class. For this cohort of the population compliance is paramount. Optics and reputation is extremely important. They never want to be seen as irresponsible.

As so many unbelievers have pointed out the breakouts even with the vaccine.
So we'll still live with the facemask.
No need to take unnecessary risks:
Your Immune System May Vary + 14 days incubation and assuming you will display symptoms and notify people if you are infected and my underlying health and this Covid-19 doesn't morph into something more dangerous.
