70s daytime, 50s night time in the north Sound area. Nice summer weather with cool mornings and warm afternoons.

Upper 70s today in Vancouver in August. This has been a very nice summer overall especially after traveling to other areas for work and pleasure.

It was a beautiful summer's evening on the Columbia tonight with warm water and a colorful sunset. Temps today were comfortable reaching the low 80s.

Still 70s/50s. Haven't seen 80 in a long time but next week we'll likely get there.

A family member visited & finally saw sunshine here on a beautiful weekend. They were amazed b/c they usually visit in Dead of Winter.

Yes, it's a night and day difference. Good that they've seen the other side of things as well. Some summers feel so long with so little rain, I forget what it looks like.... until that time of year again.

My son has only been to our place in Washington during winter and normally there was snow.
He spent a few weeks recently and was amazed.

I’m about done with an 11 day California trip and while there was several days of nice weather down here I sure do miss our Washington summer weather.

Summer is fantastic and beats a lot of place in CA especially if you enjoy getting in the water where the lakes and rivers warm up like right now (low 70s). By contrast, most bodies of water in the Bay Area are Cold even during summer. I was shocked how warm the big lakes are even up in Canada during summer.

There are a few lakes and even bays up north in both Canada and Washington that have somewhat warm water due to sun and shallow water areas.
My wife will sometimes swim in our area on hot days.
