As far as the general Seattle area, most tourist spots are Seattle Center, the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, and the downtown area. Within easy driving distance is Snoqualmie Falls (I've never been there in the summer when it wasn't PACKED with people from literally all over the world), Mt. Rainier, and Mt. St. Helens. Local zoos and parks are always full in the summer as well. SeaFair is a big summer festival on the lakes. Boat races and such.

Farther out is the Quinault Rain Forest (out on the Olympic Peninsula), the beach communities like Ocean Shores and nearby Aberdeen, and winter skiing at Mt. Baker and other places.

Those are all the big ones I can think of offhand, but I'm sure there are lots and lots of smaller ones.

There is also La Conner, everytime I go there it is busy as is Snohomish but Snohomish is good if you like to shop for Antiques.

The last weekend in July is great for the Tri-Cities (Richland, Pasco & Kennewick) on the east side of the state for boat races. Up Close and personal.

There are museums in the Olympia area that seem to attract a crowd.

oh love WA state beauitful state!!

La Conner- great scenic tourist town.

Anacortes- take the ferry to Friday Harbor in the San Juan Is. admazing!!! Very cheap, like a mini cruise. I think the ferry ride is alittle over an hour and worth the views.

Wibhey, oh can't spell, Island- Deception Pass and Mt Erie. On top of Mt Erie, drive to the top, is a awesome pamoranic view of Skagit valley and San Juan Islands.

Mt Vernon for the tulip festival, spring time

Seattle- pike place market, space needle, pioneer square etc...

If you love Mexican food there is this wonderful family owned resturant in Greenlake area, basically Seattle. It's called Gorditos, I recomend the wet steak burito. they have a web site.

Enjoy!!!
