Today along the coast in far Northern California in the Eureka area, it is in the upper 60's to low 70's on the coast and even a few low 80's just a few miles inland. It is usually or I should say typically wet and cold for us in January, but this year we have only had 2.3 inches of rain for this month and no real cold or frost. The flowering plums also just started blooming and I have daffodils coming up in my yard. We have not had a winter yet.
