I remember on this date three years ago I happened to be passing through London and there was snow on the ground in the afternoon, likely the latest snowcover here in my lifetime. Today, very different - 19.6C at 7.45pm after a high of 22.4C pretty much sunshine right through the day, indistinguishable from a summer's day really. I haven't looked it up but it could possibly be the earliest it's got this warm in my lifetime.
On this date today last year I remember it was rather hot, with a high of 90°F (32°C), Was distinguishable from a summer's day really due to the cold morning and very low dew point. I haven't looked it up but it could have been the earliest it's gotten that warm in my lifetime.
That day had a morning temperature of 40°F (4.5°C) and was sunny.
