It does look like the Northeast has finally emerged out of winter. It's still pretty much winter here, though, in the Great Lakes. But then again, our average high in March is less than 40 degrees, which would make it colder than even the coldest month in New York City, so the weather here is pretty much normal for this time of the year... I don't know, maybe another month of winter for us here in Southern Ontario?

In minneapolis I just read that we've had snow on the ground now for 120 consecutive days. I live on the SW side of town and we still have about 12in on the ground. next week its supposed to be 40F-50F everyday. So hopefully it will all be melted in the next 7-10 days.
