Even last year with less snow than normal, a warmer March, we don't have tulips in late March. I may not be paying close attention, maybe it is late April for tulips!

No crocus yet, I have plants coming up on the south side by my foundation but no flowers. What is so unusual, a good two weeks before us Manitowc will have tulips, then daffodils, while we have none.

Tulips are blooming here now, so I can't see you ever having them in March unless it's a different species. Btw, you never said: what grade would you give to your climate? TR seems to divide opinion more than most!

My hometown (New Suffolk) did better than your town!

I give it a B! No A, as the damp part gets on my nerves a little! I love the midwest, by moving north, I get more parks and trees without being in the northwoods (far upper midwest).

Here is a link that shows the curve of the land from Manitowoc to TR, also the 2 trails. I live next to Picnic Hill Park, just blocks from Neshotah. Shows the water and why my weather is so different!

This looks very similar to Two Rivers

Saint John, New Brunswick - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Air conditioned by the Bay of Fundy instead of Lake Michigan

Two Rivers seems colder than it should be. Even Green Bay is noticeably warmer.

It is, on a regular basis. Last summer I was at one of the beaches north of Point Beach State Park, and 2 young men pulled up. They got out in shorts, tee shirts and flip flops!!! It was 80 in GB and 65 in TR, they were surprised.

Friends gave them directions to a great place for rocks, neglected to tell them about it being cooler. They were from Georgia!

If you check out the link I posted with the maps, you can see why TR has its own weather pattern!
