I also heard that much snow is going to fall in areas of Colorado and New Mexico even in some of the lower elevations and maybe even more than a foot of snow there.
It is hard to believe this is happening just one month and a half away from when summer starts...

I heard places like Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, and Minnesota have had measurable snow fall in Early May, the middle of May, and even late May before and it happens once every few years in these states.

Also I heard it has snowed in June, July, August, and September before in areas of Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana, but only the higher elevations... Still though...

I had a friend call me this afternoon from Williston ND. Snowing and blowing. He's staying in the camper off his truck so staying warm is difficult to do. But the wind and cold is not his big worry. The big worry was that everyplace is closed and he's about out of beer.

In Duluth, Minnesota, we are experiencing the same bout of cold weather as in North Dakota. 39F @ 0320, with a forecast (afternoon?) high temperature of 37F to 42F, than a 25% chance of snow showers and lows in 25F - 30F range tomorrow night. Absolutely vomitous this weather...
