What I meant was what's the furthest north climate where just about every summer is still 80 F around sunset in summer, not just hotter than normal summers.
Toronto gets that but only in some kind of heat wave, and not even every year. (though most years we get at least a few days like that)
Is Kansas like that?
With average high temperatures well into the 90s and a latitude of 46°N I wonder whether the Tri-Cities area of Washington State would qualify. Large diurnal ranges though.
Possibly Karamay at 45N. Good luck swimming in the middle of the desert though.
Atyrau is an even stronger contender at 47N. There you can actually swim in the Caspian sea.
Pasco has lows in the 50s; I would wager that it's below 80f by sundown.
I tnink Karamay and Aturau have 75 - 85°F after sunset only in July. In June or August they have 70 - 80°F after sunset.
