DST in North America (minus most of AZ, Mexico, SK and HI) will start in 6 weeks. Too soon I think. Still pretty much wintertime. Its not even equinox!!!

What is the point of long evening daylight till 7-8pm in March when the temps can drop well below freezing?
It feels weird last year when I read the temperature thread : below freezing highs + 7pm++ daylight. Weird combination for a place in mid-latitudes.

About an hour and a half of daylight gained. Still dark but getting better. Sunshine still doesn't happen.

this is getting slightly more decent

still two months until DST here, at which point sunsets will be around 19:30 (and no chance of freezing temperatures, we've only had them about 10 days so far this winter)
