Our daylength is longer than yours so time change back would mean the commute to and from work would have daylight even at winter solistice. Dawn as in the start of civil twilight would still be 7 or earlier without switching back for much of winter here. November can be mild here in the afternoon, it'd be easier for me to squeeze an evening bike ride if it weren't for the time switch. On weekends, I find the early sunsets irritating

Back by next summer.

Rise/set here is 7:10am and 5:30 pm. I'd like an hour setback.

I like getting ready for work with the sun up. Gets the day started better. It's a waste to have it later in the day since you want to come home, relax, and wait for snow. No landscaping to do, I don't bike, so it's not worth evening daylight for me. Plus just feels better to have earlier sunsets. Hate that warm feeling when its out!

Also.. models come out and finish 1 hour sooner.
I'm the same way. It's harder to get up in the morning when it's pitch black out. Looking forward to the early sunsets. I don't like coming home from work and eating dinner when it's still sunny out.

As I said there's light by 6:50 or so if you include civil twilight so it's not dark that late. I haven't had dinner when the sun's out in a while now you must eat dinner early

I wake up at 6 and leave at 6:30. It's hard enough getting up early in the morning. The darkness doesn't help.

I get home around 6PM and eat dinner shortly afterwards. I'd say that's a pretty average dinner time.

So isn't it dark already when you eat dinner?

Yes. I was just making a general comment about preferring earlier sunsets...one of the reasons being dinner. It's cozier to eat dinner and watch TV while it's dark out.

Still pitch dark almost 7am now. How can you not like the time change. This is horrible, I feel like going back to sleep. Poor kids waiting for the bus in the dark too.
