Time to ban DST, baby!
What about shifting Georgia to Central Time?
Back in 1913, Atlanta was on the border between Central and Eastern Time.

I would gladly support that should the rest of the country go to year-round DST (which I foresee happening in 5 or 10 years.) Put Georgia, maybe Florida, all of Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana and Michigan in Central Daylight Time, the rest of the country can enjoy their "adjusted" solar noons, and we'll all be set.

No thanks, I would rather be on standard time all year. Our latest sunset would be 7:30PM.

later sunrise but feels "earlier" due to clearer skies (smog dominated during earliest sunrise)
Ditto for sunset
