Glasgow often has snow when we don't. I think the snow did stick here for several days in 2010/11? We were gone to the US for xmas.
Well, if I was in Glasgow I wouldn't be getting too excited anyway because it is going to turn to rain and even if it does stick it'll melt.
Yes, it did snow in 2010 and it lasted for 5 weeks here. Not sure about your place though.
We were gone for a month and I know it did stick for a few days at a time, never longer. I do remember though seeing on the news about all those people stuck overnight on the motorway to Glasgow due to al the snow, and we had none.
