9.4C and slowly rising at 00:15, overcast skies but no rain here today. Feels very mild compared to the four days of 2-5C temperatures, relentless rain, wind, mist, gloom and slush I've just had in Germany! I did get my snow fix, but it's pretty bad if over 1000km inland from the Atlantic above 50N in January you have to go 1000m above sea level to get it.
10.7C and sunny just after noon, next to no wind. It feels more like March than January apart from the lack of strength in the sun. Considering 15 of the last 17 days I've experienced in the different places I've been have been full overcast the entire day with at least some rain, often for several hours at a time this feels very odd!
