So Brisbane usually gets around 3000 each year +- 100?

The average for the combined Aero sites is a tad above 2900. Each month from August to January has an average in the 260s.

230.6 according to buxtonweather.co.uk.

This makes it the sunniest month since July 2006.

210 hours as of today. Nothing to crow home about. Average is 206 hours. May 2012, April 2011 were both sunnier.

Really low sunshine hours for such a warm month. We had over 250 hours in July 2006. But we appear to be one of the cloudier places in England this month due to North Sea low cloud and convective cloud that bubbles up during the day. Still, I expected much higher given how dry it has been until now. Actually disappointed because I'd have liked to have a very sunny month given all the very cloudy months we have had recently.

390 hours of sunshine in July so far for Vancouver. With tomorrow forecast to be another bright, sunny day it looks like we're gonna hit 400 hours, making this officially the sunniest month ever recorded at the airport weather station. We're also at 33 consecutive days with no precipitation.

We're on a sunshine rampage so far this month. A total of 88 hours in the first 9 days, or an average of 9.8 hours/day. Not bad for winter . I imagine the % of total available sunshine is very high as well.

Terrific conditions again for this weekend with fairly settled conditions continuing into next week, although likelihood of the odd shower towards the end of next week.

Unless we have an extended unsettled spell in the later stages of the month, we are heading towards an impressive August total .

Aside: the weather forum seems very active at present. This thread was buried away on page 6!
