Agree. Nothing wrong with a good vent if performances are below par (and which they clearly are where you are).

103 hours, averaging 6.8 hours a day. If every day from now until the end of the month had 6.8 hours, we'd have 204 hours, above average. Obviously that won't happen, but still, certainly not a cloudy month thus far. Still only 3.5mm (0.13") so far this month.

It feels cloudier than normal, but without data, I can't tell you for sure. My guess is so far the sunshine % is definitely under 50%, maybe even 40%.

What sort of numbers have you had in the states for sunshine hours, rather than percentages?

It's hard to find observations for either. The only reliable one I've found is here:

Weather Summary 2013: Crop Information UMass Cranberry Station

But it's just monthly summaries and it's in Eastern MA, which is a bit sunnier than here. They report by %, but I could convert it (I made an excel table a while back).

81.8 to the 8th. Not as good as June was by this point.

Ours must be horrible so far, though the July 4 weekend had some sun.

First 11 days, 67 hours, 6.1 per day. Good to see above average sun for a change.
