I thought this one would be interesting for cold lovers.... of course neither climate appeals to me but if I had to choose one. Whitehorse would be it due to it being drier year round and also because of the high latitude, there are longer days in summer and higher chance of seeing the aurora in winter.
Even though I've been to Lake Louise quite a few times over the years,
one time I even hiked to the summit of Fairview Mtn, unbelievable view,
the lake looks like it's straight down, kinda scary
Plain of Six Glaciers trail is very good too, much less strenuous
I've always been intrigued by Whitehorse, it's on my bucket list.
Lake Louise, warmer in winter and wetter, though these summer lows are disgusting. Anyway the landscape is breathtaking there, AB/BC/MT Rockies are my to do list if I ever have the chance.
An interesting choice. I pick Whitehorse, though with some difficulty. Although it gets less snow it's still a decent amount, and it's more consistently cold in the winter than Lake Louise is.
