47c, unpleasantly hot because the humidity was not as low as it could be. Apparantly the locals were saying it was also rarely humid making conditions unbearable.

My highest here was just last Aug. 1 at 115F, 46.1C, with humidity 15 to 20%. It's rare for hi temps to get into the 100 teens here. 2011's high was 112. Hopefully, climate change doesn't mean it will be even higher in 2013.

Highest official temp 45.2C in Singleton NSW, it was also the hottest in the state that day.
Have been in "outback" where temps have been recorded under a sheep shed stating higher readings than this- but these are not official stations - and hence not reliable or exaggerated.

50C+, I'm not sure exactly but definitely over 50C. Very low humidity but when you're working outside in that heat in does get incredibly uncomfortable. Inside our hangar the temperature was mid 60s C!! Imagine how that feels!

Good point, forgot to mention that.

Hottest outside was 47c.

Hottest inside was 61c for a few mins.

111 F with high humidity in July, Willmar MN camping with no shade. Got heatstroke, first time in my life, it was awful.

105 F no humidity, Mexico City in June, on business working. Asked someone when does it get hot here and they said NOW, I didn't even notice the heat a bit.

I knew I'd have the coolest hottest temp experience of anyone posting here... a mere 35 C / 95 F for me in my hometown, summer 2011. Although the actual temp was probably only around 29 C / 85 F since I was living right on the coast at the time and the sea here is very cold. It was still around 28 C / 82 F after midnight -- all with bone dry humidity -- very nice!

47C in Melbourne in Feb 2009. In this day and age of government-spruiked "global warming" though, we can't even manage two 35C days in a row.
