PM AND 5 PM.

SOME OF THE THUNDERSTORMS MAY BE SEVERE...ESPECIALLY IN NORTHERN
CONNECTICUT...WESTERN AND CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS...AND SOUTHWEST
NEW HAMPSHIRE WHERE A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT
UNTIL 10 PM.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE FARTHER SOUTH AND EAST...INTO THE
PROVIDENCE AND BOSTON AREAS...BUT THE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE
WEATHER IS MORE LIMITED.

IN ADDITION...MINOR FLOODING IS POSSIBLE ACROSS WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS
AND SOUTHWEST NEW HAMPSHIRE...WHERE OVER ONE INCH OF RAIN FELL
YESTERDAY.

THOSE WITH OUTDOOR PLANS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING SHOULD HAVE A
SAFE PLACE TO GO IF THUNDERSTORMS APPROACH...SUCH AS A VEHICLE OR
INDOORS. IF YOU CAN HEAR THUNDER...YOU ARE CLOSE ENOUGH TO BE
STRUCK BY LIGHTNING.
Wow! that shows just how severe thunderstorms must be over there. Safety advisory warnings aren't really needed here.

They can be annoying if I'm going to bike home, I need to time when I leave carefully. Though if it's just rain and hot enough (75°F) biking in heavy rain is little different than taking a shower.

5 inches deep.

As I said in the other thread, I just Wish we had a camera on every block too(aside from official weather stations). We just dont know what happens unless its shared.

This is South Canaan, CT

The only alert that we have here is a pollen alert lol. Supposed to have thunderstorms at 9:30 tonight but last night the temp was pretty high and so were the dew points, but nothing happened.

Lately for me the pollen hasn't been massacring me. I used to be extremely allergic to it but the last 5 years have been kind to me, same with my asthma. Pollen used to trigger asthma attacks as well
